GENUINE LEATHER MADE IN ITALY

Real leather has a “ natural ” appearance, an irregular texture that makes the irregularities of the pores visible. The leather used to make our products is vegetable tanned according to the ancient Tuscan tradition, it is natural and
100% eco-sustainable .
We reuse the hides of cattle and sheep from the food chain and the sludge, obtained to dispose of it, is used and usable in construction. A complete circular natural cycle!

VEGETABLE TANNING

Vegetable tanned leather is of animal origin and involves the use of organic substances (contained in wood, bark, leaves, fruit, etc.) for its coloring. The tannic substances in liquid state, extracted from vegetable products, allow the leather to be treated in an absolutely natural way and to guarantee its quality and durability over time. The hides are colored in wooden drums where the tannins are mixed with water for coloring, which penetrates all the layers of the leather.

Our products are made by Tuscan artisans. We create custom products. Our leather and our ideas are made by highly specialized craftsmen, who still use the tools of the past and work it scrupulously following the Technique handed down since the Middle Ages, from generation to generation by Tuscan Master Craftsmen.
