SCABAL’s Special Editions

It was in 1999 that Scabal began to design prestigious fabrics using 22 carat gold and extra-fine wool. They were followed by several precious collections featuring diamonds and lapis lazuli.

A new introduction from Scabal, the Passion collection combines Super 200’s wool sourced directly from specialist wool farmers in Australia, with the finest cashmere and silk to create a special edition of 12 fabrics. What sets this collection apart is its remarkable lightweight feel and soft, fine texture. The Super 200’s wool brings an unparalleled level of fineness, the cashmere contributes luxurious softness, and the silk enhances the brilliance of the colours.

SUMMIT is a cloth in a medium all-year round weight of 280g/m and gives the ultrafine wool a full, rich
and flowing handle. 

Handcrafted at the Scabal mill in Yorkshire, England with precision and care. After the wool is cleaned and combed, diamond fragments are added to produce a glimmering thread that is then woven into exceptional cloth.

The new Noble fabric collection is the latest superior cloth to come from the Scabal Noble Wool Club.  This initiative aims to create the world’s first responsibly crafted superfine merino wool, and the results are evident in this lightweight and workable Super 200’s suiting collection.

It is woven in Scabal’s own mill in West Yorkshire, England, and can be worn all year round. A unique and powerful cloth, Lapis Lazuli is available in 12 new designs, all of them solid blue or featuring blue decoration on blue background.

The new TREASURE BOX collection is created from top-quality Super 150’s Merino wool to which Scabal has added gold and platinum. 2 fabrics contain platinum, 5 are inlaid with 24-carat-gold thread, and 4 contain both gold and platinum thread.

Its supremely soft handle, deliciously light feel and exceptionally elegant shine are produced by the marriage of 50 % Super 200’s wool and 50 % silk. SUNRISE heralds the dawn of a new level of sophistication at the very top of the suitings market.
